We would all love to take our pets everywhere with us, but sometimes this is impossible, and certainly not in their best interest. Are you planning a trip? Will you be visiting family for the holidays, or going on vacation and need to board your pet(s)? You want to make sure your pets stay safe, secure, happy, and satisfied while you are away.
Tails-A-Waggin Animal Hospital will take special notes of your pet’s special needs like medication, their special diet, allergies, or other key needs. We individually tailor your pet’s stay to their daily routine and requirements. Whether they enjoy playing with others or need one on one attention, we’ll make sure your pet is willing and happy to visit Tails-A-Waggin Animal Hospital.
Boarding Requirements
To help ensure the health of all pets in our care, we require proof of the following vaccines/tests:
*** Any new clients needing vaccines or medical services will be charged a Physical Exam by the doctor.
DOGS:
- Current Rabies Vaccine
- Current DHPP Vaccine
- Heartworm test within the last 12 months
- Bordetella vaccine within the last 6 months
- Current Leptospirosis vaccine
- Current H3N8 Canine Influenza Vaccine
- Current H3N2 Canine Influenza Vaccine
- Intestinal parasite screen (fecal) within the last 6 months.
- Please package your pets food in individual zip lock bags per feeding per pet.
CATS:
- Current Rabies Vaccine
- FVRCP Vaccine within the last 2 years
- Intestinal parasite screen within the last 6 months
Please send over from your most recent vet visit, updated vaccine history.
We are a 100% parasite free facility; therefore, all incoming pets must be treated with a Veterinary approved flea and tick prevention. If we must apply, there will be an additional cost for the service. Proof of Purchase Required.
We are a full service medical facility; therefore, we feel it is our responsibility to address your pet’s discomforts or life threatening issues when observed. In cases that are more serious, we will attempt to reach you at the number provided upon check-in. If we are unable to reach you, mutual trust must prevail. Services will be billed to the owner at our usual rate.
What you can bring: 2 Toys per pet
Please do not bring: bowls, beds, blankets or towels (we supply them)

Please allow ample time as your pet/pets will be examined free of charge at check-in by one of our veterinary staff. The TAWAH charges for boarding space by the day. (Boarding fees are charged day-in thru day-out) 24-Hour cancellation notice must be given on any boarding reservations. All prices are subject to change.*
